Three years ago, I needed to fly to Rome and checked all flights on the web. Most of the cheap flights landed elsewhere or flew from anywhere except Birmingham, so for a laugh, I checked BA. What a surprise, they flew direct to Rome, had luggage and baggage allowance, and even a meal on board ,all for the price of a cheapie, but with return flight tickets as well. Guess who I flew with, and got 5* treatment?

They are only flyng inside europe. YOu wouldn’t wan to be on a budget airline for any longer than a three hours at the most.

I fly Lufthansa regularly. The flight costs me £10 each way. The rest of the “price” is unavoidable taxes. How can Ryan and the rest. be better value?

In a lot of cases there is no longer any choice.

The scheduled airlines have abandoned some routes.

Low-fare airlines now carry the majority of passengers flying from the UK , the latest figures show………They also carry more passengers travelling on domestic flights than national rail service. They are much cheaper and quicker.

Well for a fact after the appalling treatment we have received off Thomson Holidays we will always use the likes of Easyjet where after using them lately I cannot fault there service one little bit and at a much lower cost.

I fly British Airways to Venice as the budgets aren’t really any cheaper and with BA you can have a piece of hand baggage AND a handbag or laptop. And booster seats can be checked in for free.
